Starting Saturday
Johnson (lower leg) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's meeting with Cincinnati.
Analysis: Johnson has made a rather quick return from a lower-leg problem that forced him to miss the previous contest, with Alex Bono heading back to the bench. The undisputed starter has seen D.C.'s defense concede 14 goals across his last five league games despite his 24 saves, and could be expected to remain active between the posts.
Dealing with lower leg blow
Johnson has been listed as questionable for upcoming games after sustaining a lower leg concern.
Analysis: Johnson is his team's undisputed goalkeeper, so losing him would impact an already vulnerable defense which has allowed 14 goals despite his 24 saves over the last five MLS contests. If he's ultimately ruled out, his place in the initial squad might be covered by Alex Bono. The severity of Johnson's issue hasn't been revealed, though the fact that he's only considered a doubt points toward a low-grade injury.
