Lands in concussion protocol
Trapp is sidelined for an undefined period due to concussion protocol, per the latest MLS Player Status Report.
Analysis: Trapp's return depends on clearing each stage of the league's concussion protocol, so Minnesota will likely have no clear answer on his availability until he is symptom-free. The previously ever-present defensive midfielder was averaging 34.4 accurate passes, 2.8 balls recovered and 1.3 tackles per game during the 2026 MLS season. Carlos Harvey and Nectarios Triantis could be the first candidates to join Owen Gene in holding midfield.
Assists on Saturday
Trapp assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Los Angeles Galaxy.
Analysis: Trapp set up Marcus Caldeira for the equalizer in the 23rd minute. Trapp recorded 40 passes, created two chances and also made a tackle, an interception and a block. He has featured 25 times this campaign and this was just his second goal contribution.
