Makes six saves in defeat
Blake made six saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus New England Revolution.
Analysis: Blake made six saves while conceding twice during Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to New England, producing several important stops to keep Philadelphia competitive. He twice denied former Union midfielder Daniel Gazdag during the first half and stopped Dor David Turgeman's acrobatic effort before being beaten by the Israeli striker shortly before halftime, while also denying Carles Gil and Luca Langoni after the break. Blake was eventually beaten again by Gil's stoppage-time penalty, with his six saves proving insufficient to prevent Philadelphia's 15-match unbeaten streak from ending.
Concedes twice Saturday
Blake registered one save and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Charlotte FC.
Analysis: Blake conceded a pair of goals Saturday, both of which came in the second half. He's now conceded at least once in four straight starts. He faces a difficult matchup versus New England next.
