Analysis: Edwards Jr. managed nine saves, recorded 16 passes and conceded from a corner in the 27th minute. He started for the second time in a row as Angus Gunn was unavailable in the squad yet again. It will be interesting to see if Edwards Jr. keeps his starting position against Real Salt Lake if Angus Gunn in available for selection again.

Edwards Jr. registered five saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 3-1 win against Portland Timbers.
Analysis: Edwards was handed only his second MLS start of the season against Portland as Angus Gunn was away with Scotland, and he played his part in a San Jose victory. He could not keep a clean sheet after a late goal from the visitors, but he made five saves and looked composed throughout. Gunn is expected to reclaim his place next time out, which would send Edwards back to the bench.
