Set to make matchday squad
Danjuma (undisclosed) will be included in Valencia's squad for Sunday's La Liga clash against Racing Santander despite dealing with a recent fitness issue, according to coach Javier Aguirre. "I'm going to include Danjuma in the squad."
Analysis: Danjuma has been working his way back from an undisclosed issue and was spotted training individually with the ball Thursday, marking a positive step in his recovery. Although his limited involvement in team training initially raised doubts about his availability, coach Aguirre has now confirmed that the winger will travel with the squad for Sunday's matchup. Danjuma has started six of his seven La Liga appearances this season but has yet to record a goal or assist. While his inclusion is encouraging, his recent fitness concerns could limit him to a substitute role rather than an immediate return to the starting XI.
Resumes individual ball work
Danjuma was spotted working individually with the ball during Thursday's training session as he continues his recovery from an undisclosed issue, according to German Munoz of El Partit de la Una.
Analysis: Danjuma has taken a positive step in his recovery after previously being limited to individual work away from the group, though he has yet to resume full team training. The winger remains questionable for Sunday's La Liga clash against Racing Santander, with his progress over the next few days likely to determine whether he can feature. Danjuma has started six of his seven appearances this season but has yet to register a goal or assist, and his potential absence could force Valencia to adjust their attacking rotation.
