Finds starting role
Tonali (undisclosed) is in the starting XI for Saturday's clash against Aston Villa.
Analysis: Tonali was confirmed fit by coach Roberto De Zerbi after the knock that had ruled him out of the Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool proved to be nothing serious, earning a starting role in Tottenham's midfield for the fixture against the Villains. Mangaer De Zerbi made clear all available options were ready to play, and Tonali's immediate return to the starting lineup is a significant boost for a side that had been managing his physical condition carefully in the early stages of the season.
Fit to face Aston Villa
Tonali (undisclosed) is fit to feature in Saturday's clash against Aston Villa, according to coach Roberto De Zerbi. "Porro, Tonali, Maddison, all are available to play. We have to understand the situation in terms of physical condition but all of them are ready."
Analysis: Tonali had picked up a knock against Everton that ruled him out of the Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool, an issue that never appeared to be a lengthy concern. His confirmed availability now removes that doubt entirely, positioning him to return to Tottenham's midfield for the upcoming Premier League fixture against the Villains.
