Three shots Saturday
Marmoush recorded three shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Chelsea.
Analysis: Marmoush started his second straight match Saturday, leading the line by himself for Spurs. He managed three shots including one on target, but was subbed off the pitch before Spurs scored their two goals. He was replaced by Dominic Solanke in the 65th minute.
Scores first goal with Tottenham
Marmoush scored once on two shots (both on target) while adding three inaccurate crosses and three corners before being substituted in the 87th minute of Monday's 3-1 victory over Coventry City due to cramps in his calf but didn't suffer any injury, according to coach Roberto De Zerbi, per The Standard. "No, no, no, I think there are no injuries, nothing important."
Analysis: Marmoush opened his scoring account for the season and his new club with a solid attacking performance, finding the back of the net while placing both of his shots on target. The Egyptian forward was also involved in Tottenham's attacking buildup, delivering three crosses and taking three corners, although none of his crosses found a teammate. He required treatment for cramps late in the second half before being replaced in the 87th minute, but the issue is not expected to affect his availability moving forward. Having finally registered his first goal of the campaign, Marmoush will look to build momentum in the coming fixtures and should remain in contention for a starting role in Tottenham's attack.
