Two saves but conceded twice
Scherpen made two saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 3-2 win versus Crystal Palace.
Analysis: Scherpen made two saves, but was unable to prevent two goals from Crystal Palace, both of which came from outstanding finishes. The keeper is still waiting on his first clean sheet of the season and has conceded nine goals in the last three games.
Five saves in loss
Scherpen made five saves and allowed two goals in Friday's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Analysis: Scherpen made five saves during Friday's clash, but it didn't matter after he allowed two goals in the opening 10 minutes. The goalkeeper was solid after Alexander Isak beat him twice in quick succession. Against a team like Liverpool, those two early goals were insurmountable and put the match in a tough spot. Scherpen will have a better chance in some more manageable matches.
