Suffers new ACL tear

Felici is set for reconstructive surgery after rupturing the ACL in his right knee, Cagliari announced.

Analysis: Felici will likely miss the whole campaign with his second major knee injury in a row, though in the other leg this time. He was projected to be a spark plug on the wings. Riccardo Ciervo and Alieu Fadera will serve such a purpose now.

Forced off in Lecce game

Felici had one shot (one on target), one key pass and three passes in 13 minutes off the bench in Monday's 1-0 win over Lecce, leaving early due to a left knee injury, La Nuova Sardegna reported.

Analysis: Felici came off the bench but had to exit a few minutes later after getting his foot stuck in the grass while running and tweaking his knee. He left visibly upset, as he missed most of last season due to an ACL tear. He'll take tests in the coming days.
