Analysis: Kurokawa provided a single assist and sent in 15 crosses while taking six corners during Saturday's draw. The defender was brilliant throughout the match, causing issues throughout and probing the backline with searching crosses. He only earned the single assist, but it was still a wonderful showing.

Analysis: Kurokawa carried D.C. United's attacking threat against Charlotte, with seven chances created to equal his season high in the league. His set piece delivery paid off when Lucas Bartlett headed in his free kick for the equaliser, giving him four assists for the campaign, and he chipped in with two tackles, two interceptions and one clearance at the back. It followed three games in which he sent in 11 crosses without a chance created, and the left back has featured in every game this season as a fixture on the left of the D.C. defence.

Analysis: Kurokawa was active moving forward for D.C. after an unusually quiet outing last time out, notching five crosses in the draw. He has now recorded at least five or more crosses in all but nine of his 25 appearances this season. That said, his movement forward has led to some success, earning three assists.

Analysis: Kurokawa assisted Lucas Bartlett in helping put D.C. United 4-2 ahead, but they conceded twice in the final minutes to draw 4-4. This was his third assist of the season, all coming in the last six matches. In this game he created seven chances, doubling his season total to this point. Before this, he hadn't created more than two.
Notches another assist

Analysis: Kurokawa notched an assist for the second time in three games after failing to impact the scoresheet through the first nine games of his MLS career. The left back has a role on set pieces, and could continue to pop up with the occasional attacking contribution over the remainder of the season. He'll look to keep it going at home against the Chicago Fire on Wednesday.
Fortunate assist Saturday
Kurokawa assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal), seven crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Orlando City SC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 94th minute.
Analysis: Kurokawa set up Jackson Hopkins, but it was the latter who should get all the credit, considering he scored from outside Orlando's penalty box for an excellent goal. Nonetheless, the former gets his first goal contribution since transferring from Gamba Osaka.
