Extends with Vancouver

Priso has signed an extension with Vancouver, according to his club.

Analysis: Priso is not leaving the Whitecaps any time soon, as the midfielder is inking an extension to remain with the club until the 2028/29 season, with an option for the 2029/30 season. He has worked in a rotational role each of the past two campaigns, earning five starts in seven appearances this season, adding one goal. That said, he will strive for a bigger role moving forward, definitely on the agenda after his extension.

Plays final minutes Saturday

Priso had one cross (zero accurate) in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Los Angeles Football Club.

Analysis: Priso is back to playing after another injury setback. It has been a season of injuries for the midfielder, only playing seven times in 2026, spending two different stints on the injured list. If Priso is able to regain his form, he will return to his starting XI position, scoring once with 13 clearances on the campaign.

Available vs. LAFC

Priso (hamstring) is available for Saturday's game against LAFC, according to Har Johal of Canadian Soccer Daily.

Analysis: Priso started the Whitecaps' first five games of the season but has been limited to just one appearance off the bench since then, and a hamstring injury has prevented him from playing since the league resumed following the World Cup break. The central midfielder should see steady minutes if he stays healthy, and he could assume a starting role in midfield following the departure of Sebastian Berhalter to Middlesbrough.

Injured once again

Priso is out for the time being due to a hamstring injury, per the MLS Player Status Report.

Analysis: Priso had just returned ahead of the break from a hamstring issue but will return following the World Cup, as the midfielder suffers from another hamstring injury. The club already had to do without him for some time, so they will be able to find a viable replacement, although it is tough losing a starter again. Tristan Blackmon and Mathias Laborda should continue as starters until Priso returns.

Scores in return

Priso scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and two chances created in Saturday's 4-2 victory over San Diego FC.

Analysis: In a bid to put himself in contention for a potential World Cup call-up, Priso returned after seven weeks out with a left hamstring injury and made a 17-minute cameo, marking his comeback with his first goal of the season.

On bench to face San Diego

Priso (hamstring) is on the bench for Saturday's contest versus San Diego.

Analysis: Priso has gradually increased his workloads with the aim of being part of Canada's World Cup squad this summer, and he's available at least for a few minutes in the final MLS game before the big international tournament. Despite being a natural midfielder, he has served as a center-back lately, so he'll be in contention with Tristan Blackmon and Mathias Laborda at the club level and may eventually challenge Derek Cornelius on international activity.

Working against time for World Cup

Priso (hamstring) is hopeful to recover in time to feature for Canada in the World Cup, as he told reporters "I think for being out for seven weeks [I feel] pretty good, obviously not where I was before the injury but I feel I will have enough time to build that up again.", per Canadian Soccer Daily.

Analysis: Priso has been inactive since March 22 and just recently returned to training with Vancouver. While he may not play a big role in the World Cup, the central man will aim to return in one of the international matches this summer. Otherwise, he'll likely be available for MLS play in July. Despite being a nominal midfielder, he has operated as a center-back lately, so he'll eventually challenge Tristan Blackmon and Mathias Laborda at the club level and Derek Cornelius in the national team.

Begins light jogging

Priso (hamstring) has begin light jogging on the grass, reports Har Journalist of the Daily Hive Vancouver.

Analysis: Priso is beginning his slow recovery back the pitch with some light running. It is still unclear if he will be ready to return before the World Cup, with the roster set to be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, the midfielder will remain on a strict rehab schedule, already missing the last month with his hamstring injury.
