Concedes twice in loss
St. Clair allowed two goals while making five saves during Saturday's 2-0 loss to New York Red Bulls.
Analysis: St. Clair allowed a goal in each half as Miami dropped all three points Saturday. The keeper has allowed three goals while combining for 12 saves and keeping a clean sheet over his last three starts. Miami take on Cincinnati in mid week action Wednesday.
Allows late goal
St. Clair had two saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Atlanta United.
Analysis: St. Clair would come close to a third straight clean sheet Saturday but would lose his bid late after two saves, allowing a 89th-minute goal via a penalty. He remains with four clean sheets in 24 appearances this season, on pace to have his least amount of clean sheets in a season since 2022. He will now prepare to face Red Bull New York on Oct. 24 as the season comes close to an end.
Back to back shutouts
St. Clair registered five saves and allowed zero goals in Wednesday's 2-0 win over New York City FC.
Analysis: St. Clair played a key role in Wednesday's clean-sheet win, making five saves against NYCFC for his fourth shutout of the season. It was also his second consecutive clean sheet, recording five saves in each of those matches after a difficult stretch beforehand. He will face off with Atlanta for the next contest on Saturday, who have scored seven goals in the last five gamnes. St Clair had allowed two goals on four saves against the oppoent during the last outing back on Sep 6.
Keeps clean sheet in win
St. Clair made two saves and kept a clean sheet during Saturday's 4-0 win over D.C. United.
Analysis: St. Clair returned after missing the previous game while away with his national team and didn't have much work to do as his side completely dominated the opposition. This was just the third clean sheet of the season over 22 starts for the goalkeeper, who had allowed multiple goals in five of the previous seven games.
Returns to goalkeeping duties
St. Clair is back with Inter Miami following international duty and is available for Saturday's MLS clash against D.C. United after being omitted from the league's latest injury report.
Analysis: St. Clair missed the matchup against Columbus Crew while away with his national team but is now ready to reclaim his starting role between the posts. The goalkeeper has struggled defensively since returning to the starting XI following the World Cup, conceding multiple goals in five of his last seven MLS starts. He most recently allowed two goals while making just one save in a 2-2 draw against San Diego FC. Rocco Rios Novo was expected to cover his absence but could return to a reserve role with St. Clair back in the squad.
Concedes twice in draw
St. Clair recorded one save and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-2 draw versus San Diego FC.
Analysis: St. Clair conceded a pair of goals Sunday, both of which were scored by Anders Dreyer. He also only made one save in his second straight match. He has now conceded multiple goals in five of seven starts since rejoining the starting lineup after the World Cup. He is set to miss Sunday clash at Columbus due to international duty, so Rocco Rios Novo will likely step in and start.
Called up for international duty
St. Clair has been called up by Canada for the upcoming international break between September and October.
Analysis: St. Clair will compete for playing time with James Pantemis and Owen Goodman during the break. As a result of the call-up, the veteran goalkeeper will miss the Herons' pivotal match against Columbus on Sept. 27, but he should be available to face D.C. United on Oct. 10.
Saves one in 2-2 draw
St. Clair made one save in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Nashville SC.
Analysis: St. Clair and Miami have now drawn each of their last three games. They continue to struggle with defensive lapses, as seen by Sam Surridge's stoppage-time equalizer that put a big dent in Miami's Supporters' Shield hopes. They will look to lift the Campeones Cup at home against Cruz Azul on Wednesday before shifting focus back to league play at home against San Diego FC on Sunday.
Makes two saves in draw
St. Clair registered two saves and allowed one goal in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Chicago Fire.
Analysis: St. Clair made no more than two saves for the eighth time in 19 starts so far. The goalkeeper has only two clean sheets over that span. He will now look to bounce back against Nashville on Saturday.
Concedes two against Atlanta
St. Clair made four saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Atlanta United. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 62nd minute.
Analysis: St. Clair was not at his worst Saturday, but still allowed two goals in the draw, making four saves during the night. This still means he has no clean sheets in his four matches since getting a starting role back, with his last coming May 17. He will now prepare to face Chicago, a major clash for positioning in the Eastern Conference.
Makes three saves
St. Clair recorded three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 7-1 victory versus CF Montreal.
Analysis: St. Clair didn't have much to do and probably could've made zero saves but still emerge victorious. The goalkeeper shouldn't face much pressure against Atlanta United, a team which has only tallied 25 goals in 22 MLS matches this season.
Allows two goals versus Toronto
St. Clair had no saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Toronto FC.
Analysis: St. Clair fell well short of his previous four-save performance, as he stopped just one of the three shots on goal he faced this time. With multiple goals conceded in both games since taking over the starting spot from Rocco Rios Novo, the Canadian has been unable to help his team break a five-game winless streak in all competitions. If he continues to be relied on, he'll try to take advantage of the opportunity next Saturday in another home matchup against a Montreal side that Miami held scoreless in their previous meeting in July.
Solid in first start since break
St. Clair had four saves and allowed two goals in Wednesday's 2-2 draw against Philadelphia Union.
Analysis: St Clair returned to the starting eleven for the first time since the World Cup break, taking over from Rocco Rios Novo after consecutive benches. He acquitted himself well, denying two one on one opportunities and making a confident high claim. His grip on the role remains uncertain, though, as head coach Guillermo Hoyos said the change had nothing to do with Rios Novo's performance and instead stemmed from an expectation of a heavy crossing game, where St Clair's strength in the air was seen as an advantage. The outing should nonetheless boost his chances of starting again when Inter Miami take on Toronto on Saturday.
Starting keeper for Canada
St. Clair is set to be the starter in goal for Canada as they play in the 2026 World Cup.
Analysis: St. Clair is joining Canada for a second World Cup in his career, although this one should go a bit differently than the last, as he is now expected to be their regular starter in net after a backup role last time. The keeper has served in the MLS since going pro, serving mainly with Minnesota until a transfer to Miami this season. He was one of the better keepers in the league last campaign before a bit of a rough start with Miami, currently allowing two goals per appearance while only having two clean sheets in 14 starts. He will need to be at his best if Canada wants to make a run, as seven goals allowed in the group stage last tournament were a major reason for their exit before the knockouts. However, playing in not the strongest group could be a major help, potentially set for one clean sheet between one of their first three games against Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar.
Concedes four, wins anyway
St. Clair allowed four goals while making six saves during Sunday's 6-4 win over Philadelphia.
Analysis: St. Clair allowed all four goals in the first half, but blanked Philadelphia in the second as Miami came away with all three points. The keeper has allowed seven goals while combining for 10 saves and keeping a clean sheet over his last three starts. Miami have a home clash against Chicago following the World Cup on July 22nd.
Keeps clean sheet in win
St. Clair recorded four saves and allowed zero goals in Sunday's 2-0 win against Portland Timbers.
Analysis: St. Clair logged his second clean sheet in the season to help Miami win at home. The goalkeeper made four or more saves for the fourth time in 13 starts. He will now look to keep the momentum against Philadelphia on Sunday.
Struggles in win
St. Clair recorded no saves and allowed three goals in Wednesday's 5-3 victory against FC Cincinnati.
Analysis: St. Clair allowed three goals on only three shots during a frustrating match Wednesday. He still earned the win during the clash, but failing to make a single save is a disappointing showing. St. Clair will hope he can bounce back and offer his team a little more support next time out despite coming off a win.
Three saves in victory
St. Clair recorded three saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 4-2 win versus Toronto FC.
Analysis: St. Clair made three saves in Saturday's 4-2 road win at Toronto, helping Inter Miami stay in control during a chaotic closing stretch after Emilio Aristizabal struck in the 82nd and 90th minutes to make things tense late at BMO Field. He gave up two quick goals as Toronto's late surge nearly mirrored Miami's own collapse against Orlando City the previous week, but ultimately held his ground to preserve the team's six-match road winning streak. St. Clair has now started 11 MLS matches this season and has just one clean sheet to show for it, and he'll be chasing another in Wednesday's matchup against Cincinnati.
Five saves in 4-3 defeat
St. Clair had five saves and allowed four goals in Saturday's 4-3 defeat against Orlando City SC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 50th minute.
Analysis: St. Clair made five saves but conceded four goals as Inter Miami threw away a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3 in the final moments. The keeper has kept one clean sheet so far this season and has made four or more saves in each of the last three games. This was his first time since the season opener that he has conceded three or more goals.
Concedes one
St. Clair registered six saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw against New England Revolution.
Analysis: St. Clair made six saves and conceded following the long a long throw. He has now accumulated 13 saves and three clearances in the last five games and conceded eight times in that span. Next, he takes on Orlando City SC, who have netted seven in the last four games.
