Nursing thigh problem

Sow has been diagnosed with a left biceps femoris strain, Mediaset reported.

Analysis: Sow had already been ruled out for the upcoming Fiorentina match and will likely skip at least one further game, if not more. He quickly became a staple of the formation, but Genoa will have to turn to their backup midfielders while he's out.

Picks up injury

Sow "is undergoing tests after getting hurt with Switzerland but surely won't be an option against Fiorentina on Saturday," coach Daniele De Rossi announced.
