Cleared to face Paderborn
Jatta (groin) is available for Saturday's Bundesliga clash against Paderborn after making progress in team training, according to coach Merlin Polzin. "There's plenty of good news: Patson, Sambi and Baka have already completed a significant amount of training, some of it full training, and are therefore available for the match."
Analysis: Jatta has made encouraging progress in his recovery from a groin injury after gradually increasing his training workload throughout the week. The winger had already participated in most of Tuesday's session and has now been cleared for selection against Paderborn. His return strengthens Hamburg's options on the flanks, although his recent lack of competitive action could limit his involvement initially. Jatta will look to rebuild his match fitness after his spell on the sidelines.
Ramping up workload
Jatta (groin) is ramping up his workload, according to Hamburger Morgenpost.
Analysis: Jatta is working on rebuilding his fitness, but still has no precise timeline for his return. He worked through most of the training session on Tuesday, and still has plenty of time to recover. Jatta would be a nice depth option if deemed fit for Saturday's trip to Paderborn.
