Scores opener in win

MacNaughton scored a goal off his lone shot, created one chance, made one tackle, three clearances and one interception and was shown a yellow card during Wednesday's 3-1 win over LA Galaxy.

Analysis: MacNaughton didn't put up gaudy defensive numbers but made up for that on the attacking end as he rose above all defenders to head home a corner kick from the right and break the deadlock in the 42nd minute. This was the first goal of the year for the center-back, who's on pace to have the best campaign of his career after joining from D.C. United.
