Cleared to return
Piette is available for the Oct. 10 match against Toronto after serving his one-match suspension for yellow-card accumulation.
Analysis: Piette is eligible to return after sitting out the Cincinnati clash through suspension. The midfielder had started four consecutive matches before his absence, recording 13 tackles, six interceptions and six clearances over that stretch. He should be in contention to immediately return to the starting midfield against Toronto.
Set for suspension
Piette recorded five tackles (four won), one clearance and one interception in Saturday's 2-0 loss versus Columbus Crew. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 84th minute and is set for a one match suspension.
Analysis: Piette will miss the Cincinnati clash after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season. He'd started the last four matches, stacking 13 tackles along with six interceptions and clearances in that stretch, showing steady defensive work.
