Analysis: Janelt made four interceptions and delivered three corners in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Leeds, providing the deep corner delivery that Nathan Collins looped back into the box for Mikkel Damsgaard's headed chance in the second half, while also delivering four crosses of which two were accurate throughout 90 minutes. He provided the defensive cover in front of Brentford's back four that allowed Mamadou Sangare to push forward with greater freedom, and his disciplined positioning helped Brentford limit Leeds' attacking threat for long stretches, ending the game with three tackles and one block to add to his interceptions. Janelt has now made eight interceptions across Brentford's opening two Premier League matches, the highest total of any Brentford player in that span.
