Doue had two crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 1-0 win over Ecuador. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 40th minute while adding three clearances, seven duels won and one tackle won.

Analysis: Doue had some problems dealing with the physicality of some of the Ecuador attackers, and he could've been sent off for a harsh foul on Enner Valencia. However, he was also an asset offensively and managed to deliver some interesting things going forward. Doue could be forced to play with a more defensive mindset Saturday against Germany, though, limiting his fantasy upside in the attacking third.

Doue has been named in Ivory Coast's World Cup squad and is expected to start at right-back throughout the competition.

Analysis: Doue ended a brillant season at Strasbourg, contributing two goals and seven assists across 34 in all competitions, bringing pace, directness and the ability to contribute offensively to Ivory Coast's defensive setup. The older brother of PSG forward Desire Doue brings an exciting attacking profile from right-back that gives manager Fae an additional outlet on the right flank, and his ability to drive forward makes him difficult for opposing left-backs to handle. His goal against France during the pre-tournament friendlies show exactly what he is capable of bringing to the Elephants.
