Amenda completed a transfer from Frankfurt to Coventry City on Thursday.

Analysis: Amenda had been linked with a move to Coventry City for the better part of the last two weeks, and now the move is official. The Swiss defender started in 20 of his 29 appearances for Frankfurt between the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League, and he should add a versatile presence at the back since he can play both right-back and center-back with equal ease.

Analysis: Amenda got the start at right-back during Saturday's draw, and was passable. It was a decent showing, though he didn't do particularly well getting forward, creating only a single chance.
