Pedro Vite

Analysis: Vite will look to regain a starting spot at the club level after seeing moderate action for the Ecuadorian national team, which could lead to his playing time being managed at some point due to fatigue. The midfielder has featured in a central position throughout the season, opening his Apertura scoring and assisting counts in September. His return also means Israel Luna and Adalberto Carrasquilla could see their roles reduced going forward.

Joining national team

Vite is part of Ecuador's squad for upcoming international activity, so he's not expected to feature for Pumas for the time being.

Analysis: Vite made three successive starts at the club level in September, featuring in a central midfield spot and benefiting from corner kick duties to rack up 15 crosses (four accurate) in addition to his lone goal and assist over that span. He'll likely miss one game due to the international call-up, returning to the starting lineup against Cruz Azul after missing the game versus San Luis. All of Victor Arteaga, Israel Luna and Alan Medina could see their roles boosted while Vite is away.
