Concedes late winner Sunday
Rios Novo had four saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-1 loss against Columbus Crew.
Analysis: Rios Novo made his first start since Aug. 16 Saturday with Dayne St. Clair out on international break. He was headed towards helping his team towards a draw, but he spilled a shot in the 98th minute that Jamal Thiare pounced on to score the match winning goal. It was a tough moment for Rios Novo and one he will likely stew on as he likely returns to the bench for the remainder of the season.
Saves four, concedes four in loss
Rios Novo made four saves in Saturday's 4-1 loss to Nashville SC.
Analysis: Rios Novo made some big stops on the night, but also had a howler where he was caught in no man's land on Nashville's last goal. Regardless, he seems to have a firm grip on the starting job and will look to help Miami right the ship at Philadelphia on Wednesday.
