Analysis: Callender allowed two second half goals including the game winner in the 84th minute of Wednesday's defeat. The keeper has allowed eight goals while combining for four saves over his last three starts. Callender and company head to St. Louis for their next match Saturday.
Disappointing Saturday
Callender made one save and allowed five goals, but also an own goal in Saturday's 5-4 defeat to Portland Timbers.
Analysis: Callender stopped just one of the five shots he faced during Saturday's loss and scored an own goal. Performances don't get much worse than that for a goalkeeper, as Callender did nothing to even slow down the Portland attack. In the end his own goal proved decisive in the one-goal loss.
