Clark was a late addition to Seattle Sounders' squad in the summer transfer window following his departure from D.C. United, his new club announced Thursday.

Analysis: Clark brings midfield versatility to a Sounders team that could initially benefit from his contributions from a bench role on either flank or in the No. 10 spot. Despite being 23 years old, he already boasts the experience of 119 matches played at the MLS level. However, he has seen little action in the 2026 season, staying on the bench in most of his opportunities with D.C. since April, so the move to a new club should allow him to get increased playing time. Current starters Paul Rothrock, Sebastian Gomez and Albert Rusnak may see their involvement reduced whenever Clark is introduced into the rotation.
