Analysis: Sangare assisted his side's first goal of the season Saturday as he set up Keane Lewis-Potter's strike in the 12th minute. It was one of two chances he created in the match and he also put one shot on target. Signs five-year deal with Brentford
Sangare is a new addition to Brentford's roster after departing Ligue 1 side Lens for the 2026/27 campaign, his new club announced Saturday.
Analysis: Sangare will boost the Bees' central midfield ability after a consistent season in France, where he stood out as an all-around contributor, scoring three goals and four assists while averaging 1.8 shots, 1.3 chances created, 7.1 balls recovered and 3.0 tackles per game in league play. He's also a Mali international since 2024 and has previous experience in various Austrian clubs. He'll challenge Vitaly Janelt and Yehor Yarmolyuk for starts in the next Premier League campaign.
Back from suspension
