Brown recorded one goal on two shots and an assist on three chances created in Sunday's 7-1 win over Curacao.

Analysis: Brown was excellent in his World Cup debut as he stepped onto the world stage with Germany. He would have two key moments: first, assisting on Nico Schlotterbeck's goal in the 38th minute, before scoring a goal of his own in the 68th minute. It is clear the young defender has no fears heading into the World Cup, and with a starting spot at left-back now likely to stick over David Raum, he has new value. Not to mention, Brown took four of the teams corners.
