Signs with Man Utd
Santos signed a five-year deal with Manchester United with the option for a further year, away from Chelsea.
Analysis: Santos makes the move to Old Trafford after failing to make the desired impression in his only real season at Chelsea in 2025/26. Most of his success at the senior level came with Strasbourg two seasons ago when he scored 10 goals in 32 starts. He figures to immediately fight for time in the United XI following the departure of Casemiro. It's likely United will add more bodies for competition with Santos and Kobbie Mainoo the main options for deeper midfield roles in their current system.

Santos scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Tuesday's 2-1 victory versus Tottenham Hotspur.
Analysis: Santos scored his first ever Premier League goal Tuesday, a close-range strike in the 67th minute assisted by Enzo Fernandez. It was the only shot he took in the match. He was also very active on the defensive end as he won five tackles, setting a new season high. It marked the first time since Feb. 21 that he completed the full 90 minutes.
