Assists in road loss
Judd assisted once to go with five shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 4-2 loss to FC Cincinnati.
Analysis: Judd created Timo Werner's goal in the second half with his third assist in the season, but it wasn't enough to avoid the road loss. The forward also led San Jose in shots during the match. That was his 15th start in 16 overall appearances.
Back for SJ
Judd has served his one match suspension and will be an option for the trip to Cincinnati on Saturday.
Analysis: Judd missed his first match of the season after receiving his fifth yellow card against Portland. Before the suspension, he had been in exceptional form, scoring eight goals across his last seven league appearances while producing 14 shots on target, five crosses, and six starts during that stretch.
Suspended against Galaxy
Judd picked up a yellow card in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to Orlando City, his fifth of the season, and will be suspended for Saturday's match against LA Galaxy, according to the league.
Analysis: Judd's absence opens the door for Timo Werner to likely take on a more central role leading the attack for that fixture. The suspension is a minor disruption to San Jose's forward line, and Judd should be available to regain his undisputed role once the one match ban is served against Cincinnati on Aug. 1.
Extends through 2029
Judd signed a contract extension with San Jose through 2029, with a team option for 2030, the club announced.
Analysis: Judd has signed a new deal with San Jose coming off a breakout first half of the campaign. He's been absolutely electric to start the season, with 11 goals and two assists in 15 appearances (14 starts) before the World Cup break. Judd's new deal will keep him in San Jose for at least three more seasons, with him set to lead the line as long as he stays fit.
Logs another brace
Judd scored two goals to go with three shots (two on goal) and two crosses (zero accurate) in Saturday's 3-1 win against Portland Timbers.
Analysis: A month after logging his 2026 season's first brace, Judd has recorded another right before the World Cup respite. Even though his current campaign includes almost as twice as fewer MLS appearances compared to those of his 2025, he has significantly improved since then. This year, Judd has logged 11 goals, almost double his previous season's scoring. The incredible efficiency indicates that once MLS action returns in July, he should not be viewed as a sleeper forward but as one of this league's best strikers.
Extends scoring streak to five
Judd scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat to Seattle Sounders FC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 58th minute.
Analysis: Judd continued his remarkable scoring streak in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat at Lumen Field, making it five consecutive MLS appearances with a goal after his deflected effort in the second half following a blocked shot that ricocheted off Jackson Ragen's heel and looped past a diving Andrew Thomas briefly leveled the match at 2-2. Judd has now scored nine goals and two assists across 13 MLS appearances this season.
Goal streak continues
Judd scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) and two crosses (zero accurate) in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
Analysis: Judd netted the opening goal Saturday in San Jose's 1-1 home draw versus Vancouver. The forward has scored once in each of his last four appearances (four starts), scoring five goals total from 16 shots (nine on goal). Judd has been named to the starting XI in each of San Jose's first 12 MLS fixtures.
Scores on Saturday in 1-1 draw
Judd scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Toronto FC.
Analysis: Judd scored the team's only goal in the match, which was his seventh in the league campaign. It was the 26-year-old's fourth goal in the last three league fixtures as well. Judd also made a clearance.
Scores two from eight shots
Judd scored two goals to go with eight shots (four on goal) and one chance created in Wednesday's 5-1 win against Austin FC.
Analysis: Judd scored twice to bring him to five goals for the season in nine games. He took eight shots in the match, his first time taking more than five in a game this season and put four on target. He has put at least two shots on target in six times this season. This was also the fourth time in the last five matches that he had created a chance.
