Analysis: Williams had a busy game defensively as his side were reduced to 10 men in the first-half after Rob Holding got sent off. This was just the defender's second MLS game, and he played the full 90, but was unable to prevent St Louis, who scored in the final minutes. He made a total of 10 clearances, but did concede one foul.

Williams scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Wednesday's 1-0 win against San Diego FC. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 22nd minute.
Analysis: Williams scored the only goal of Wednesday's 1-0 win over San Diego in the sixth minute of second-half stoppage time in his MLS debut, arriving in the box to convert Paxten Aaronson's assist and send Dick's Sporting Goods Park into celebration, also contributing two interceptions and two clearances across his time on the pitch in a debut that will live long in the memory of the young defender.
