Back with Spurs

Phillips will return to parent club Tottenham following the conclusion of his loan spell at Stoke City.

Analysis: Phillips made 40 Championship appearances including 36 starts across 3,345 minutes for Stoke, contributing one assist alongside a commanding defensive output of 19 tackles, 32 interceptions and 252 clearances throughout the campaign. Phillips had previously made 35 starts for Stoke in 2023/24, establishing himself as one of the most reliable young center-backs in the Championship across consecutive loan seasons, and now heads back to Tottenham where his future under new coach Roberto De Zerbi will be assessed heading into the 2026/27 season.
