Handed extension

Neves has been extended by PSG, according to the club.

Analysis: Neves is remaining with PSG, as the young midfielder gets a new extension until 2031 after winning back-to-back UCL titles with the club. He remains a crucial part of the team as their young flair in the midfield, earning regular time through injuries and rotation. With the extension, his role should only continue to grow.

Clears illness, trains fully Monday

Neves (illness) was back in full training Monday and is available moving forward, according to the club.

Analysis: Neves had missed the match against Lille due to illness, with Lucas Beraldo stepping in for him in the starting midfield against the Dogues. His return to full training Monday now confirms he has recovered, positioning him to reclaim his regular role as PSG will look for a first win in the 2026/27 Ligue 1 season against Monaco on Friday.
