Signs first team deal at Austin

Alastuey signed a first team contract with Austin FC through the end of the 2026 season, with options for 2027, the club announced.

Analysis: Alastuey has tallied 19 goals and eight assists across 39 MLS NEXT Pro appearances with Austin FC II, leading the team in goal contributions in each of the last two seasons. He made his MLS debut in March, playing 31 minutes as a substitute against Real Salt Lake, before earning his first career start the following month against San Jose. The midfielder came through Real Zaragoza's academy before joining Barcelona's La Masia, representing the club at multiple youth levels along with a stint at Napoli's U19 side. Alastuey is expected to continue competing for first team minutes as he builds on his development.
