Undergoes surgery
Yildiz went under the knife to fix a fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot in Augsburg, Juventus announced.
Analysis: Yildiz is expected to need two and a half/three months to make a full recovery and resume playing. Jeremie Boga, Kerim Alajbegovic and Nicolas Gonzalez will fill in for him on the left wing in the meantime, as Juventus aren't expected to make further signings at the position.
Dealing with serious foot injury
Yildiz is suspected to have suffered a metatarsal fracture in his left foot against Frosinone and is undergoing evaluations to determine the best course of action, TuttoSport reported.
Analysis: Yildiz, his camp, and the Juventus medical staff are debating whether and where to have surgery or if he can heal through conservative therapy. Either way, he's set to be sidelined for a long time. Jeremie Boga and Kerim Alajbegovic will absorb his minutes if the club doesn't sign new players.
