Scores brace in win
Nuamah scored two goals to go with six shots (four on goal), five crosses (one accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 4-0 win versus Rennes.
Analysis: Nuamah opened the scoring in the seventh minute after being picked out by Corentin Tolisso before adding his second in the 30th minute from Pavel Sulc's pass. The winger remained Lyon's primary attacking threat throughout his 73 minutes, producing six shots and creating two chances while also coming close to completing a hat trick before halftime. Nuamah has made an excellent start to the campaign with three goals and one assist across four Ligue 1 appearances.
Two goal contributions in victory
Nuamah scored one goal and assisted once from four shots and one chance created in Friday's 3-1 win over AJ Auxerre.
Analysis: Nuamah set up Felix Bacher's 28th minute opener before getting on the scoresheet himself in the 53rd minute to restore Lyon's two-goal cushion, finishing his 67-minute shift with four shots and one chance created. He was Lyon's most electric attacker in the first half, consistently finding pockets of space between Auxerre's lines and creating the overloads that fueled Lyon's two-goal first-half surge. Nuamah now has one goal and one assist in Ligue 1 this season and is quickly establishing himself as one of Lyon's most dangerous attacking weapons in coach Paulo Fonseca's system.
