On bench to face Galaxy
Langoni (lower body) is on the bench for Saturday's game against Los Angeles Galaxy.
Analysis: Langoni appears to be fully recovered and will push for a role in the Revs' attacking unit, where Jack Harrison, Peyton Miller and Dor David Turgeman are currently featuring from kickoff. The Argentinian has yet to log more than 35 minutes in a league game since May, but he previously achieved three goals and six assists over a 12-game stretch early in the season, so he could eventually make an offensive impact.
Could return soon
Langoni (lower body) is eyeing a return in the next few weeks, according to manager Marko Mitrovic, per Caleb Pongratz of Spotrac. "I hope Luca will be somewhere in between Ilay and Leo coming back."
Analysis: Langoni is still recovering from a lower-body injury, but it appears a return could come soon, as he is likely to be fit sometime in September. It will likely be in the middle of the month, still needing some time as he builds fitness. He recently fell out of a starting role, so he will look to return and earn that spot back.
