Analysis: Langoni is a surprising presence in the starting XI after coach Marko Mitrovic suggested he would see limited minutes in this game. Langoni (thigh) is close to returning ahead of Saturday's visit to Real Salt Lake after manager Marko Mitrovic said he "is in a very good spot. Luca will be in consideration for this game. He has had several weeks of trainings, and he is getting to a stage where certain minutes he can play and he can perform," Caleb Pongratz of Spotrac reports.
Analysis: Langoni could finally make a gradual comeback before seeing a full workload during upcoming league contests. The attacker was ruled out for most of the last four months after suffering a few injury setbacks. Before that, he had scored three goals and six assists across 12 league games played between February and May. He might not be fit enough to start in the short term but should challenge Peyton Miller and Diego Fagundez on the right flank later in the season.
