Back in training with Seattle

Brunell (not injury related) is back in training with the Sounders after the international break and should be an option for Saturday's game against New England on Saturday, according to Niko Moreno of Sounder at Heart.

Analysis: Brunell has started regularly for the Sounders and hadn't missed any game this season until the Oct. 2 match against Sporting KC, as he was on international duty with the USMNT U20 squad. The young midfielder will be in contention to feature this weekend, but as a holding midfielder who doesn't contribute much offensively, his return won't be significant from a fantasy perspective.

Unavailable against SKC

Brunell will miss his club's matchup against Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday while he serves international duty, per the MLS Player Status Report.

Analysis: Brunell has played a role in central midfield lately, making his absence a relevant blow to a team that is also missing Hassani Dotson (suspension). Therefore, Peter Kingston might feature alongside Cristian Roldan for the upcoming league contest, with both Brunell and Dotson likely to be eligible again in subsequent weeks. The youngster has been in and out of the initial lineup in the past few months, producing mostly through tackling and pass accuracy.
