Absent with illness
Solans was not available for Wednesday's visit to Houston Dynamo through illness, the team reported prior to the game.
Analysis: Solans failed to add to his 21 appearances (17 starts) of the 2026 MLS season as his sickness dealt a late and important blow to the RSL front line. He could have a chance to return in subsequent weeks if he regains health, potentially bouncing back to a starting spot at the expense of Jason Shokalook, who led the front line in the midweek game. Solans is the team's leading scorer and one of the greatest threats in the league after producing nine goals and three assists over his 21 matches played so far.
Scores in 4-3 defeat
Solans scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to FC Dallas.
Analysis: Solans scored the first goal for Real Salt Lake as they would eventually go on to lose 4-3 to FC Dallas. This was his ninth goal in his debut MLS season, scoring in three games in a row. He took four shots in this game, his fourth time taking at least this amount and he has scored on each of these occasions.
Scores in draw
Solans scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Minnesota United.
Analysis: Solans took advantage of a lapse in Minnesota's defense late for the first goal in Saturday's draw, but it was his lone shot which actually went on frame. He has a good chance to be more productive against FC Dallas, a side which has conceded 25 times in 18 games entering Sunday's match.
Opens scoring on Saturday
Solans scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus St. Louis City SC.
Analysis: Solans opened the scoring in the 60th minute assisted by Saba Lobzhanidze. Solans recorded 29 touches which included four progressive carries and four clearances. This was the first time he contributed to a goal after the World Cup break and this goal took him into double figures for goal contributions this campaign.
Fires two shots
Solans took two off target shots, crossed once inaccurately and created a chance during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Minnesota.
Analysis: Solans was held off the scoresheet while taking the second most shots on the team. The forward has combined for two goal involvements, seven shots, four chances created and two crosses over his last three appearances.
Scores, assists in victory
Solans scored one goal and assisted once from five shots and two chances created in Saturday's 2-1 victory versus Colorado Rapids.
Analysis: Solans got directly involved in each of the hosts' goals, as he set up the 36th-minute equalizer after taking advantage of a defensive mistake near the opposing box, and then notched the winning strike through a solid header in the 68th of the match. The goal ended the attacker's five-game drought, keeping him level with Zavier Gozo as the team's leading scorer. His recent display should be enough for Solans to stay ahead of Victor Olatunji in the race for a starting spot going forward.
Assists opener
Solans assisted once to go with three shots (two on goal) and two chances created in Saturday's 2-0 victory versus Portland Timbers.
Analysis: Solans set up Zavier Gozo for the opener in the 10th minute. He completed 12 passes and won three duels. Since his move from UCLA Bruins, Solans has contributed to seven goals in 10 appearances this campaign, including four goal contributions in the last four games.
