Two shots from the bench
Mfuni registered two shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 1-0 loss versus Fulham.
Analysis: Mfuni came from the bench with half an hour to go and attempted two shots, putting one on target. The young defender has played a part in three of the last four games and started in Coventry's only clean sheet of the season. In his last two sub appearances, he has taken two shots in each.
Finds back of net Monday
Mfuni scored one goal to go with two shots (two on goal) in Monday's 4-1 win versus Newcastle United.
Analysis: Mfuni closed out the scoring for the Sky Blues with a beautiful goal, as he took on a few defenders on the left side of the box and generated enough space to unleash a rocket that left Lukas Hornacek helpless. This was the first goal and second appearance in league play for the Manchester City loanee. He had previously played the full 90 in the 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sept. 19 before the break.
