Analysis: Mfuni closed out the scoring for the Sky Blues with a beautiful goal, as he took on a few defenders on the left side of the box and generated enough space to unleash a rocket that left Lukas Hornacek helpless. This was the first goal and second appearance in league play for the Manchester City loanee. He had previously played the full 90 in the 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sept. 19 before the break.

That said, the 18-year-old has already featured in a first-team match with City, getting time in an FA Cup match last season, so he is in their plans. However, they want to let him grow a bit more, as he is set for at least another season or two of senior loans to gain experience, more likely to join the first team around age 21 or 20, as did his teammate Max Alleyne.
