Scores in first EPL start
Chema scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Arsenal.
Analysis: The towering midfielder delivered an assist in his debut against Coventry on Sept. 13 despite playing 25 minutes off the bench, and he bagged his first goal in this match with a close-range header after an assist from Pascal Gross. It's hard to see Chema having much fantasy upside in his holding role in midfield, but the early returns are promising. In two appearances, he has one goal, one assist, three shots, one chance created, two clearances and two interceptions.
Assists in debut Sunday
Chema assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 5-0 win against Coventry City.
Analysis: Chema made his first appearance for Brighton Sunday after joining the club from Stuttgart at the end of the summer transfer window. He replaced Malick Yalcouye in the 65th minute and it did not take him long to make an impact. He assisted Lewis Dunk's goal in the 83rd minute, also adding one shot and two clearances in a very productive debut. It's currently unclear if he will make his way into the starting XI regularly, but it's still a dream start for the young Spaniard.
