Out 12 weeks after surgery

Berchimas is expected to be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks after undergoing successful surgery Thursday morning to address a broken foot, the club announced.

Analysis: Berchimas has been on the fringes of Charlotte's rotation this season, so his extended time out isn't expected to significantly disrupt the club's plans. Berchimas is expected to begin his rehabilitation immediately following the procedure.
