Returns off bench Saturday
Amorim (ankle) came off the bench for eight minutes in Saturday's 2-0 loss to Roma.
Analysis: Amorim got through a brief cameo in Saturday's defeat, coming on for Morten Frendrup late in the game after shaking off the ankle problem that cost him the Fiorentina match. He has not started since the opening day and has been used mainly from the bench, but if Djibril Sow (thigh) continues to be absent, he should be in the mix for more involvement in midfield alongside Samuel Wiafe and Hamed Traore.
Likely for Roma contest
Amorim (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game versus Roma, Il Secolo XIX reported.
Analysis: Amorim has been training somewhat regularly in the last couple of days and is on track to be a bench option after missing the previous game. He'll contribute to replacing Dijbril Sow (thigh) alongside Hamed Traore and Samuel Wiafe. He has notched at least one cross, totaling 11 (two on target) in all his four showings (one start), adding three key passes, five tackles (two won) and two interceptions.
