Leads Genoa in crosses versus Napoli
Amorim registered one shot (one on goal), five crosses (zero accurate) and three corners and won two of three tackles in Saturday's 2-0 defeat against Napoli.
Analysis: Amorim got the call over Djibril Sow, who's working on his fitness after a late transfer, and padded his stats through a few set pieces, but he wasn't too accurate. He worked hard in the midfield but will have to show well consistently to stay a regular. He tallied 11 chances created, 16 tackles and eight interceptions in 11 displays (six starts) since joining last January.

Analysis: Amorim was a big physical presence in the midfield in his third consecutive start, as he's getting more run at the expense of Ruslan Malinovskyi and Junior Messias lately with Genoa not having much on the line. He posted new season highs in the two defensive stats. He has created at least one chance in the last three contests, racking up four and posting four crosses, six tackles (three won) and four interceptions during that stretch.
