Substitute role against Arsenal
Yalcouye played five minutes as a substitute during Brighton's 3-0 win over Arsenal before the international break.
Analysis: Yalcouye dropped to a backup spot despite scoring two goals over his last three league contests, as Yasin Ayari moved to the No. 10 position. Given how that adjustment paid off in a difficult matchup, Yalcouye may not have a clear path back into the initial lineup even though he has been a reliable attacking contributor during the early weeks of the season.
Scores in dominant victory
Yalcouye scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 5-0 victory against Coventry City.
Analysis: Yalcouye doubled Brighton's advantage shortly after halftime, winning possession inside the Coventry half before racing through the defense and finishing with his left foot. The midfielder was consistently involved in dangerous areas before his substitution, with two of his three attempts testing the goalkeeper. Yalcouye has now recorded two goals through four Premier League appearances this season.
