Assist in draw
Streit assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal) and two chances created in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Seattle Sounders FC.
Analysis: Streit's assist to Hennadii Synchuk gave Montreal an early lead before the team ultimately settled for a draw. Streit has three G/A on 21 shots, 19 chances created and 16 crosses (five accurate) this season.
Available after international duty
Streit (international duty) is ready to be included in the match squad for MLS play after a one-game absence.
Analysis: Streit's comeback will threaten Dante Sealy and Alexis Sanchez in wide zones for the next league matches. Having represented the Switzerland Under-21 national team, the youngster returns to domestic action with the aim of increasing his tallies of one goal and one assist over 22 games played (11 starts) in the 2026 MLS campaign.
Out to face Cincinnati
Streit is currently working with Switzerland's U21 national team and is not an option for his club in Saturday's game versus Cincinnati.
Analysis: Streit has been in and out of the starting lineup on the left wing this year, but Montreal are able to rely on the experienced Alexis Sanchez in that spot for now. Streit's absence does reduce the depth of a squad that is managing several international call-ups. In any case, he'll most likely return to action when club activity resumes in October.
Creates three chances at Colorado
Streit registered one cross (one accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Colorado Rapids.
Analysis: Streit led Montreal with a season-high three chances created, but it wasn't enough to avoid the loss on the road. The forward also took their lone corner kick in the match. That was his 11th start in 21 appearances so far.
Generates assist
Streit assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), one cross (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 7-1 loss against Inter Miami CF. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 39th minute.
Analysis: Streit was productive for Montreal, taking shots and creating chances to ultimately get an assist. It didn't impact the final outcome but the attacker should have more success against Philadelphia. The Union have allowed 39 goals across 22 MLS games so far.
Bags winner at Columbus
Streit scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Wednesday's 2-1 win versus Columbus Crew.
Analysis: Streit scored the match-winning goal Wednesday, a strike in the 78th minute assisted by Brayan Vera which took the 2-1 lead. It marked his first goal of the campaign and it came at a very opportune time. He added solid work on the defensive end too, recording one tackle, one interception and one clearance. He was subbed off immediately after his goal, replaced by Daniel Rios in the 79th minute.
