Joins Espanyol on loan from PSG

Moscardo has joined Espanyol on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, the club announced.

Analysis: Moscardo came through the Corinthians academy in Brazil, joining at just 12 years old and eventually breaking into the first team in 2023, where he made 25 appearances with a goal and an assist and quickly became a mainstay in the middle of the park. That form led PSG to sign him to a four-and-a-half-year deal in January 2024, though he's yet to make an appearance for the senior side in Paris, spending the time since on a string of loans. He featured 10 times for Stade de Reims in 2024-25 with a goal in the Coupe de France, then made 39 appearances last season on loan at Braga across all competitions, often used out of position at center back, where he still managed a goal and an assist. He's also been a regular for Brazil's youth national teams, helping the U20s win the 2025 CONMEBOL tournament.
