Comes off injured in SKC trip
Torres limped off the field with a discomfort in the weekend's duel versus Sporting Kansas City.
Analysis: Torres had to leave his place on the field to Besard Sabovic after taking a knock in the first half. The youngster has been busy lately, making 11 consecutive league starts, so his exclusion from future games would force the team to modify its midfield setup. His status is uncertain until there's a clear evaluation of the injury.
Provides assist in comeback
Torres assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-3 draw against San Diego FC.
Analysis: Torres supplied the cross for Brandon Vazquez's header that started Austin's three-goal comeback and also struck the post during the first half. He has now started seven consecutive matches after opening the campaign in a reserve role, highlighting his growing importance in midfield. Torres has one goal and three assists across 14 MLS appearances this season.
