Signs five year deal with Newcastle

Bamba signed a five year contract with Newcastle United from Monaco, according to the club. "Aladji adds depth and a range of qualities to our midfield options, with huge potential for growth," Head coach Eddie Howe said.

Analysis: Bamba made 25 appearances in all competitions for Monaco last season, including five in the Champions League, and made his first team debut in 2025 after signing professional terms the year before, having come through Monaco's academy following a decade at Blois.
