Mehmeti had an assist while taking an off target shot and creating two chances during Saturday's 2-1 loss to Atlanta.
Analysis: Mehmeti set up Emil Forsberg in the sixth minute, assisting the opening goal of the match while tying for the team-high in chances created. The assist was the first since February for Mehmeti as he's combined for four shots, four chances created and four tackles over his last three starts.
Back from ban
Mehmeti has served his one match suspension and will make the trip to Atlanta on Aug 15.
Analysis: Mehmeti has been a constant presence for RBNY this season, starting all 17 matches he's featured in during his first MLS campaign. In that span, he's delivered a goal and two assists while adding 36 tackles and 33 interceptions.

Mehmeti earned a red card during Saturday's 2-0 loss to Charlotte.
Analysis: Mehmeti played almost the entire match but ended up leaving due to a second booking in stoppage time Saturday. He's now ineligible for the upcoming fixture versus Orlando, so his next chance to feature in MLS will come in a subsequent trip to Atlanta on Aug. 15. The youngster has been very active as a holding midfielder, a spot that may be covered by Gustav Berggren from the current bench players. In any case, Mehmeti will likely return to the starting lineup once he has cleared his suspension.
