Assists after injury return
Bakola assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Sunday's 3-2 win versus Juventus.
Analysis: Bakola returned from injury in a substitute role and immediately made his presence felt, providing his first assist of the season during Sassuolo's three-goal second half. The midfielder had started each of the opening two Serie A matches before the injury interrupted his campaign, so Sunday's 35-minute appearance represented an encouraging return to action. He should have an opportunity to work his way back toward the starting XI as his fitness improves.
Good to go from bench
Bakola (thigh) is on the bench for Sunday's match against Juventus.
Analysis: Bakola was deemed good to go for Sunday and has made the team sheet, residing on the bench after a thigh injury. After starting in the first two games of the season, he will look to return to that role after testing his legs against Juventus.
