Nets in win
Zabiri scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 win against Espanyol.
Analysis: Zabiri was effective and got on the ball frequently during Saturday's win. He took four shots and put two of them on goal as well as netting once. The forward was dangerous every time he got on the ball, causing issues for the backline and nearly earning a brace. On the whole it was another strong performance for the forward.
Scores in draw with Valencia
Zabiri scored one goal to go with three shots (three on goal) in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Valencia.
Analysis: Zabiri finished Inigo Vicente's pass with a composed touch inside the box in the 32nd minute of play Sunday. The Moroccan's strong scoring form has put him in a four-way tie for second in the league with seven goals, a remarkable rise for a player who entered the campaign as an unexpected contender. He should remain ahead of Asier Villalibre in the race to lead the front line for a team that has leaned much more heavily on its attack than its defense.
